Mill lubricant inventory
Set this up once and every other calculator gets smarter. Check off the greases and oils you keep on your shelf. The recommendation tools will then suggest products you already stock first, and only go to the full catalog when nothing you have fits.
Your list is saved only in this browser on this device. It isn’t sent anywhere, so on another phone or computer you’d set it up again.
Tip: tap brand chips to filter, then Stock selected brands to check every product from those brands at once.
How this works
Tick the greases and oils you keep in stock. The list is stored in this browser. The Lubricant Recommendation tool and other tools that suggest a product then rank products you stock first and mark them “In stock”. When nothing you stock fits the job, they fall back to the full catalog and mark those products “Not on shelf”.
Product data (thickener, base oil, NLGI grade, viscosity) comes from the manufacturers’ published product data sheets.
Worked example
Stock list: Mobilgrease XHP 222 (grease) and Mobil SHC 630 (oil), nothing else.
Recommendation inputs: bore 100 mm, OD 180 mm, 900 RPM, operating temperature 70 °C, everything else left at its default.
Calculator output: top recommendation Mobilgrease XHP 222, marked In stock (base oil about 51 cSt at 70 °C, against an estimated 26.9 cSt needed: ν₁ 13.4 cSt from ISO 281 × κ 2 target). The next product listed, Mobil SHC Polyrex 102 EM, is marked Not on shelf.
With nothing stocked, the same inputs give Summit SumTech SG-100 as the top pick, marked “Consider stocking”.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my list saved?
Only in this browser on this device, in the browser’s own storage. It is not sent to LubeSuite or anyone else. Clearing this site’s data in your browser erases the list.
Can I move my list to another device?
Not at the moment. There is no export or backup for the stock list, so on another phone, computer or browser you tick your products again.
What if nothing I stock fits?
The recommendation tools fall back to the full catalog and mark those products “Not on shelf”, so you can see what you would need to add.
Why does it help to stock fewer lubricants?
Fewer products on the shelf means fewer chances to grab the wrong one, simpler labels and less to keep track of. Ranking what you already stock first helps you reuse those products instead of adding another one.
